This Is My Third Ring Of Hell.

Im so tired and for once, it isn't my own fault!!!
Im in the middle of exams, we've got a house inspection coming up and my boss has recently decided to give me a buttload of hours at work - argh!!!!
Oh, and did I mention that I've got a blasted cold that I can get rid of??? Yeah, Summer colds rock.

A grumpy, whiny post to say I'll be back soon, please don't think I'm a deadbeat on your F-List! Though I may fail my law exam, hope everyone is well!! :).

I saw Friends With Benefits today, the one with Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake. And it gave me something of a meltdown - no, it didn't have anything to do with Timberlake's acting abilities (or lack thereof).

The girl from That 70s Show and the guy from NSyncCollapse )

Oh my god. I just made a Spice Girls reference to be told by some 17 year old that they were 'way before her time'. What the fuck?!? This alarms me for two reasons:
Número Uno: am I that old? Holt shit, it's not like I made reference to The Bay City Rollers or whoever my Mum used to listen to.
Secondly: the Spice Girls were a pop culture phenom. I wasn't around in the Beatles hey day, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate, non?

Kids these days.
Also, cyber brownies to anyone who gets the title reference. ;)

The Ides of March Movie Poster

Arguably the best movie poster in a long while... and not just because it's George Clooney and Ryan Gosling, but I think it's great. Really creative, really striking.

Okay, and yes. Partially because of George Clooney and Ryan Gosling. You can't really go wrong there.

Has anyone seen this movie? Is it any good?
Okay, so here's the thing. Every year, I've posted one of these 'Oh, I swear I'm going to post more' blah blah. And I do, for a month, and then I... don't.
I will. This year. I've been writing a buttload of fiction and whenever I pause from that, I always wish that I had a place to write about non-fictional things, conveniently forgetting about my lil slice of LJ right here. :)

So friends, take this as my pledge - Here I come! :) See you around!

Writer's Block: Daylight Saving Time

What would you do with your time if you had one more hour in the day?

I'd use it for procratinating against NaNoWriMo. I have ZERO motivation right now and it is the most frustrating thing EVER!! :)

F-Locking Again!

Okay, I lied. I said that I was going to try to update here more and that most of my entries wouldn't be f-locked.
In an attempt to update more here, I'm going to lock most of my posts... but I'll add anyone who adds me! So feel free to say hi!

Apparently, I write like Dan Brown. Not sure how I feel about that - I've never read any of his stuff? I hope it's good though... :)

I write like
Dan Brown

I Write Like by Mémoires, journal software. Analyze your writing!

Yes, I know that most of these applications are complete bullshit, but c'mon, I had to give it a go...

Holy Photoshop Batman!

This is supposedly Camilla Belle on the cover of Jezebel magazine. Yeah, I hadn't heard of it either.
It looks like a bad combo of a five year old harnessing their Photoshopping skills and a plastic surgeon told 'do whatever you can to make me famous'.

Entries are open for RuPaul's Drag Race, Camilla.
